Following its official launch last November 26 in China, OPPO is preparing for the global launch of the Reno13 series as pre-orders are open in Malaysia. Judging by the pre-order period, we speculate that the global launch of the Reno13 series might happen on January 11.
Those looking forward to the Reno13 series might have some good news: based on OPPO Malaysia’s website, it seems that the global version will be exactly the same one that launched in China—at least based on the renders revealed.
OPPO is mum about the key features of the global Reno13 series, but we expect to get at least an aluminum frame, IP69 rating, and AI features like Livephoto and AI Editor. Aside from the regular Reno13 and Reno13 Pro, there will be a Reno13 F 5G that’s launching alongside as well in Malaysia according to the pre-order page. Not much is known about the Reno13 F save for being available in 3 configurations: 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. There’s no mention of what configurations will be offered for the Reno13 Pro, but you can pre-order the regular Reno13 in either 12GB/256GB or 12GB/512GB.
Since we’re optimistic, we expect the global Reno13 series to rock the same Dimensity 8350 processor that’s used by their Chinese counterpart. We also expect the use of Gorilla Glass 7i protection for the display, along with support for 50w wireless charging, a 50-megapixel IMX890 sensor for the main camera that has OIS and support for 4K60 video recording, and Android 15-based ColorOS 15 out of the boz.. The Reno13 Pro will be more interesting with the addition of a 50-megapixel periscope camera with 3.5x optical zoom, OIS, and support for 4K60 video recording.
