ROG Ally Coming to the Philippines on July 20

The wait for the official release of the ROG Ally in the Philippines is almost over, as ASUS confirmed that the much-awaited portable gaming handheld will launch locally on July 20 via an online event that will be hosted on the ROG Philippines Facebook page.

The live stream, which is called ROG Ally #playALLYourgames, will happen on July 20, 6 PM, and will feature ROG Ambassadres Dexie Diaz. During the event, Dexia will showcase the performance of the ROG Ally in three scenarios: Me Time, Pro Time, and We Time.

To recap, the ROG Ally is a portable gaming handheld that has a 120hz Full HD OLED display and is powered by AMD’s new Ryzen Z1 series processors that should let you enjoy AAA and Indie PC games in 1080p. The ROG Ally runs on Windows 11, making the portable handheld also usable to play games on different platforms–and even use it as a computer when docked.

The ROG Ally has 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and a UHS-II MicroSD card expansion, along with support for ROG’s XG Mobile external GPUs for a top-tier gaming experience when docked.

The event will also reveal the official price of the ROG Ally. If you are wondering, the actual price of the ROG Ally in the Philippines is lower than how much is being sold in the grey market–ASUS Philippines promised that they will try their best to match the US pricing of the ROG Ally in the Philippines.
