It is more affordable than the first ROG Phone
While it has launched globally a few days back, it is only recently that ASUS revealed the official pricing of the ROG Phone 2 in China. The good news is that there’s an affordable Tencent version that comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that will sell for CNY 3500(~Php 26.1k). That price is very tempting considering you get a Snapdragon 855+ processor and a bunch of goodies like the 120Hz display.
The regular ROG Phone 2, which comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage, will sell for CNY 6000(~Php 44.7k). It is a steep price hike, but it can be justified by its large 12GB RAM and equally huge 512GB internal storage. There’s also an eSports Armour edition that comes with a custom briefcase and all of the ROG Phone 2 accessories–that one will sell for CNY 13000(~Php 96.7k).
If you really want to get your hands on one, JD.com is accepting pre-orders until July 30. Official sale of the ROG Phone 2 in China starts on July 31.
