More Affordable Infinity Display-equipped phones from Samsung
As 2018 is coming near, we should be getting a few ideas about the new iterations of Samsung’s Galaxy A series. For one, we know that they will be sporting a new processor with the Exynos 7885 processor. An upgrade to Exynos 7880, the new processor is manufactured through a 14nm process, and has eight cores with a 2.1Ghz clock speed. The said processor was spotted earlier on a Samsung SM-A730x, presumed to be the Galaxy A7 (2018). The spec sheet adds that the upcoming phone will have 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, and 15-megapixel front and rear cameras.
As for the Galaxy A5 (2018), the phone was spotted on GeekBench equipped with a Snapdragon 660 processor and 4GB of RAM:
As for the design, recent schematics for both the Galaxy A5 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018) show that they will be sporting an Infinity Display like the Galaxy S8 and S8+, along with a repositioned fingerprint scanner, now located below the camera.
