Samsung Announces Galaxy F52 5G in China with Snapdragon 750G, 120hz Display

Over at China, Samsung actually has a Galaxy phone that has the same processor as the Galaxy A52 5G but at a much lower price point. This comes in the form of the Samsung Galaxy F52 5G.

  • 4500mAh battery

Unlike the Galaxy A52 5G, you get a slightly bigger 6.6-inch 120hz display on the Galaxy F52 5G. However, it uses a TFT panel–so the fingerprint scanner is located at the side. The punch hole is placed on the upper right corner, where it houses a 16-megapixel snapper.

Going to the back, you have a quad-rear camera setup that comprises of a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras. Essentially, the Galaxy F52 5G’s snappers are a toned-down version of what is found on the Galaxy A52 5G.

Going to similarities, the Galaxy F52 5G also has the same 4500mAh battery as the Galaxy A52 5G, along with 25w wired charging. you also get a Snapdragon 750G processor that is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage–the latter being smaller than the 256GB storage offered on the Galaxy A52 5G. You are also getting Android 11-based OneUI 3.1 as well with the Galaxy F52 5G.

Samsung Galaxy F52 5G Price

The Galaxy F52 5G is priced at CNY 1999(~Php 14.9k) in China. That makes it cheaper than the Galaxy A32 5G sold in the Philippines while offering a better set of specs. The Galaxy F series is not yet available in the Philippines, though Samsung might decide to bring it over to our shores as an online exclusive like the Galaxy M series.
