When you think of Samsung, you’d rarely imagine them having a decent phone offering at the under Php 10k price point, save for rare ones like the Galaxy A15 5G. It’s hard to imagine a Samsung phone priced at under Php 6k in the Philippines, but that’s the official price of the newly-announced Galaxy A06.

As the most affordable Samsung phone in the Philippines for 2024, the Galaxy A06 may not get 5G connectivity, but you’re getting a decent Helio G85 processor with it, along with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage–the latter being expandable. 
The Galaxy A06 is 8mm thin, yet has a 5000mAh battery that supports 25w charging–which is better than most offerings at under Php 6k. Other noteworthy features of the Galaxy A06 include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 6.7-inch 90hz HD+ IPS display, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and Android 14 out of the box–with an update commitment of 2 major Android updates and 4 years of security updates.
The Samsung Galaxy A06 is priced at Php 5,790 for the 4GB/64GB model and Php 6,790 for the 4GB/128GBB model. Those who will purchase until December 31 will get a travel adapter as part of the bundle.
