While the Galaxy A32 is touted as Samsung’s most affordable 5G phone, the Korean brand launched a 4G version in Russia. While they look identical, there are several differences. Save for the downgraded processor, the Galaxy A32 4G is better than its 5G sibling.
Samsung Galaxy A32 4G Specs:
- Helio G80 processor
- 4GB RAM
- 64GB/128GB storage
- 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, Full HD+ resolution, 90hz refresh rate
- 64-megapixel main camera with PDAF, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 5-megapixel macro camera, 2-megapixel depth sensor
- 20-megapixel f/2.2 selfie camera
- 4G, LTE
- WiFi, Bluetooth, side-mounted fingerprint scanner
- 5000mAh battery
- 15w fast charging
- Android 11, OneUI 3.1
The biggest and most obvious change is with the processor, where you get a Helio G80 processor that is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. The 4G version gets a vastly better display: while it is slightly smaller at 6.4-inches, you are getting a Super AMOLED panel along with a Full HD+ resolution, 90hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The selfie snapper also gets an upgrade at 20-megapixels.
For the rear cameras, both the 4G and 5G versions of the Galaxy A32 come with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and two 5-megapixel cameras—one for depth sensing and another for macro shots—but the 4G version gets a higher-resolution 64-megapixel main rear camera.
Both the 4G and 5G version get the same battery at 5000mAh, which tops up via 15w USB-C charging. Both phones run Android 11 out of the box, along with OneUI 3.1.
