After renders of the Galaxy A52 surfaced a week ago, it is the Galaxy A72’s turn to appear. Scheduled to release sometime early 2021, the Galaxy A72 is expected to be a bigger version of the Galaxy A52, just like how the Galaxy A71 is to the Galaxy A51.
Like the Galaxy A52, the Galaxy A72 will have a metal frame and a Glasstic back. The Galaxy Note 20-like camera module is also there, with one of the cameras expected to be a 64-megapixel main camera.
For the display, you are getting a 6.7-inch display with a centrally-placed punch-hole. Like its smaller sibling, you still get a headphone jack, in-display fingerprint scanner, and roughly the same thickness with the camera bump included.
Also interesting is that the Galaxy A71 and the Galaxy S21 look similar in the front–that means you are also getting a punch-hole display with very minimal bezels. However, unlike the Galaxy A71, the Galaxy S21 gets a smaller 6.2-inch display.
We should know more about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy phones in the next few weeks.
