While we’re seeing compact flagships making a comeback (in China at least), Samsung is going for a different trend with the Galaxy S25 Edge, ushering in an era of ultraslim flagship phones. It is the slimmest Samsung phone to date at 5.8mm thin and weighs only 163 grams.
Being an insanely slim phone, the S25 Edge does not compromise on durability with a titanium frame and Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection on the front display. Like its siblings, it is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip.
Color options are conservative, and they include Jet Black, Silver, and Icy Blue.
The S25 Edge keeps its rear camera setup simple with a 200-megapixel main camera that has 2x “optical quality zoom” and a 12-megapixel ultrawide with autofocus and macro feature. Like its siblings, you get the full suite of Galaxy AI features that include removing items from the background of photos and cleaning up audio in videos.
Other Galaxy AI features available on the S25 Edge include Google Gemini integration, Samsung’s Now Brief and Now Bar, Knox Vault, Audio Eraser, and Drawing Assist.
The Galaxy S25 Edge starts at $1099 in the US, which translates to around Php 62k converted. No word yet if it is coming to the Philippines.
