Samsung Galaxy S8 Will Skip MWC, Note Line Here To Stay

Samsung’s eager to put all the problems with its disastrous Galaxy Note 7 behind it now that the Korean firm has officially closed its investigation into why their last flagship had a tendency to go up in flames. What better way to do that than release a brand new device to take the sting off of the difficulties that they’ve faced in the past few months.

Unfortunately, Samsung faithful will still have to wait a few more months before they finally get a glimpse of the Galaxy S8, since the Korean company has officially stated that the next star of their Galaxy will skip Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, this year.

As for the Note line itself, Samsung has opted to retain the iconic line despite the fiery end that their previous flagship experienced. Samsung’s mobile chief DJ Koh said that there’s still many loyal Note customers despite all the negative publicity that happened with the last entry in the phone lineup.

“I will bring back a better, safer and very innovative Note 8,” he said, adding ‘We found through the investigative process, we knew there are lots and lots of loyal Note customers.”
