Samsung Officially Releases Curved Gaming Monitor CFG 70 In The Philippines

The Samsung CFG 70 might be your monitor in your next build

Samsung has officially announced that they’ve released their newest curved gaming monitor in the Philippines, dubbed the CFG 70. The new monitor comes in two sizes – 24 and 27-inches – and has a VA panel instead of a regular IPS display that we’re all accustomed to.

It makes sense – the curved display makes sure that you’ll be in the sweet-spot when it comes to viewing angles, and traditionally have been the best performing display when it comes to color accuracy and image response. The CFG 70 has a 1ms response time, and has a 144Hz refresh rate, and is integrated with AMD’s FreeSync Technology (sorry NVIDIA fanboys). In addition, the monitor uses the same quantum dot technology that the Korean firm uses on its TVs, which gives precise colors across  125 percent of the sRGB spectrum. The CFG 70 also has a 3000:1 contrast ratio as well as industry-leading 1,800R curve.

The new monitors are priced at Php 20,899 for the 24-inch model, and Php 31,099 for the 27-inch model.
