Samsung unveils Galaxy Tab 3 Lite for the Low-End Market

Samsung’s new tablet offering heads straight for the budget market

Looks like Samsung wants more of the budget tablet pie, and has recently unveiled the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. It’s not hard to see where Samsung was going with the new tablet, a simple glance at the specs – 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixel display, unspecified 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 2-megapixel camera puts it squarely in budget territory.

As you can see, the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite lives up to its name, as it’s very light indeed on the specs. There will be two color variants of the Galaxy Tab 3 – white and black – when it launches in the future. No date of availability or pricing has been set, but Samsung will need to come up with some blockbuster pricing to move this baby in the Philippines if they do decide to sell it here, considering how much competition they have in the budget tablet territory.
