A feat for the uber-expensive, cutting-edge smartphone
Two weeks after Samsung announced that it will be selling the Galaxy Fold on a pre-order basis,
the Korean tech giant announced that it has sold out all available stocks during the pre-order period. While Samsung did not specify how many Galaxy Fold units it has sold, it is still considered a feat especially with the Galaxy Fold’s mind-boggling Php 109,990Â price tag.
“We’re overwhelmed by the support of our loyal customers for wanting to unfold the future with the Galaxy Fold. They will be among the exclusive few who can get their hands on the biggest breakthrough device that began a new era in mobile technology,” Samsung Philippines IT and Mobile Business Unit head Jerry Mañus said.
Aside from freebies that include a pair of Galaxy Buds and an Aramid fibre cover, those who pre-ordered the Galaxy Fold also have access to Samsung Concierge and Samsung Care+. The former is a premium customer care service while the latter is a year-long program to assist Galaxy Fold owners for repair coverage and emergency concerns.
