Fast, reliable storage from Samsung

While Samsung didn’t announce anything phone-related this CES (possibly saving their Galaxy S6 announcement for MWC a few months from now), one of the coolest devices they did announce was their new portable SSD drive that’s only the size of a business card. Samsung’s SSD T1 combines a fast, high-capacity portable SSD drive for relatively little money – only $300 (Php 13518) for 500GB and $600 (Php 27036) for 1TB. While those amounts may seem excessive for what essentially is a portable drive, remember this is SSD we’re talking about – fast access speeds and tiny footprints is the name of the game here. While international availability is not yet known, Samsung’s putting this up for sale in the US later this month.
