Taiwanese brand, Asus, is set to launch their Zenfone 4 lineup of smartphones very soon. We’ve already seen a couple of teasers, and we pretty much know what to expect with at least two of its six variants — the Zenfone 4 Max and the Zenfone 4 Selfie. Well, it looks like what could be the flagship for the latest iteration of the Zenfone series, the Asus Zenfone 4 Pro, made its way to Italy a little early.
The news comes from an Italian website and the phone, with the designation ASUS_Z01GS, looks to be rocking hardware we come to expect from a flagship device at this point of the year.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. Check.
A lot of RAM. That’s 6GB. Check.
QHD AMOLED display. 5.7-inches. Check
Dual rear cameras with 2x optical zoom. Check.
We had to translate the page from Italian to English, and it looks like the primary camera on the rear will be at 21-megapixels. The phone will also be running on the latest version of Android Nougat but will, of course, have ZenUI on top of it.
The Zenfone 4 Pro is reported to be launching towards the end of September, so we’ll have to wait and look out for more leaks to know more about the hardware the flagship is packing or if this particular device is the actual product or something else entirely.
