Affordable 4K shooter?
SJCAM, that preferred action camera brand for adventurers on a tight budget has officially unveiled their newest, high-end camera, the SJ500X Elite. The new camera sports a very wallet friendly price but is packed with a lot of features that’ll impress even elite shooters. First off, the Elite SJ5000X sports a Sony IMX078 sensor that’s said to have a pixel size of 1.55 µm and has viewing angles of 170x 140, 110 and 70 degrees. The camera is capable of shooting at 4K resolution at 24fps (interpolated). It’s also capable of shooting in 2K resolution at 30fps, and can do slo-motion capture of up to 240fps, though at a low resolution of WVGA.
Aside from that, the SJ5000X has a 2-inch display, hardware gyro, WiFi and an iOS and Android app for controlling the device remotely. The camera is priced at just $149.99 or around 7K.
