Another local company will be offering an octa-core smartphone!
Looks like SKK is jumping on the octa-core gravy train, and has teased their Krakken on their official Facebook page today. The SKK Krakken looks to be a bit of a change from most of the HD and full HD octa-core offerings in the market, offering only a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480)Â display.

- 8GB of storage expandable via microSD (possible 4GB?)

Looking at the specs of the Krakken, it looks like it’s not as feature packed as the offerings of other local brands. The upside there is that it will definitely be cheaper than the other octa-core offerings of other local brands, with some going as high as Php 16,990 and as low as Php 12,990. If the company prices this below 10K, then they just might have a winner in their hands.
