Someone Bought 3 Acer Predator 21 X’s

That’s a combined total of around 1.65 million pesos

While Acer’s Predator 21 X is the pinnacle of what a gaming notebook can be, even people with ridiculous amounts of disposable income would probably take pause before dropping the monetary equivalent of a small car for one. Well, if you ever doubted the appeal of Acer’s ri-goddamned-diculous, gigantic curved 21-inch gaming machine, prepare to be blown away: someone bought not one, not two but three(!) of the monster gaming notebooks.

Acer’s not spilling the beans on who Mr. Moneybags is (obviously), but they’ve confirmed that someone did buy three of their Php 549,999 gaming notebooks all at once. That’s a combined total of Php 1,649,997, and since we’re already measuring things via car value, that’s enough cash to buy Mazda’s pocket rocket, the MX5 (give or take a few thousand pesos). We can’t possibly think of a reason why any sane person would buy three of the things, but we’re only hoping that our tax money wasn’t used to buy ’em. At least use them for something more meaningful than crypto-currency mining, yeah?
