Faster than most of the competition
In a number of Android Pie-related news, Sony one-ups everyone by announcing that they will roll out Android Pie to select devices starting next month. In addition, they expect the rollout to be complete by November, which we think is a strong claim considering only a few devices have access to Android Pie as of this writing.
Sony’s Android Pie rollout will include the Xperia XZ Premium, XZ1, XZ1 Compact, XZ2, XZ2 Compact, and XZ2 Premium.
Major updates on Android Pie include native notch support and better system efficiency.
