While Sony is an established brand when it comes to headphones and earphones, it is doubling down on expanding its portable and tower speaker line. At a preview event at their office in BGC, Sony Philippines confirmed to us that their ULT line of speakers will be expanding this July with three new models: ULT Field 3, ULT Field 5, and ULT Tower 9.

The ULT Field 3 gets a stylish, ULT-branded shoulder strap that lets you carry it along with you anywhere and an IP66 rating. It comes in Black, Off White, and Forest Gray, and features a woofer+tweeter combo. It has ULT Power Sound 1, and it is rated for up to 24 hours on a single charge, which is rechargeable via USB-C.

As for the ULT Field 5, it is a bigger version with its 2 tweeter and 1 woofer design, and adds RGB lighting. The Ult Field 5 is available in Off White and Black, and has two ULT Power Sound Modes. You get an additional stereo in jack for plugging your audio devices, and a battery rated for up to 25 hours on a single charge.

Finally, the ULT Tower 9 is a huge tower speaker and is available in AC and DC(with battery power) versions. This huge speaker tower has 2 tweeters, 2 rear tweeters, 2 midrange speakers, and a woofer unit. You also ger RGB Lighting and two ULT Power Sound modes, and additional ports thart include USB-A, Optical Digital Input, Mic Input, and Guitar/Mic Input. For the version with a built-in battery, the ULT Tower 9 is rated for up to 25 hours on a single charge.

All three Ult speakers Sony previewed to us will be available in the Philippines this July, so stay tuned for pricing and avaiiability.
