Meet the Sony Xperia ZR
While the Sony Xperia Z is “water resistant”, you don’t actually have full control over it when it’s submerged in water or if water drops hit the screen. The water is enough force to activate the touchscreen so it goes crazy if you’re using it while it’s getting wet (like texting in the shower). I was initially hoping that a software update would fix this but apparently it’s a hardware issue as Sony just came out with the new Sony Xperia ZR which is all about full control while in contact with water.
