Students who are looking for an affordable laptop that has an under Php 20k price point now have a new option, as ASUS brings its BR1100 series laptops to the Philippines. Available in traditional clamshell (BR1100C) or 2-in-1 (BR1100F) variants, both laptops comply with Military Grade durability standards, ensuring that they can easily handle daily knocks, bumps, and drops.

To ensure utmost durability, the BR1100 series have rubber safety grips, a 3D textured finish, and a spill-resistant keyboard to ensure that they will work in case students accidentally spill liquid on it. It also protects users as well, as both models are coated with ASUS’ BacGuard.

With online learning being the norm, both laptops come with an AI-powered noise-canceling mic and a 720p webcam with 3D noise reduction for better quality with those video calls and online classes.

Both laptops come with an 11.6-inch display (with touch screen on the BR1100F) and are powered by an Intel Celeron N4500 processor that is paired with 4GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB eMMC memory. Storage is expandable too, as they come with an M.2 expansion slot, allowing you to install M.2 SSDs should you need to expand storage.

When it comes to connectivity, both models have a  USB-A 2.0 port, USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with power delivery, Ethernet port, HDMI 1.4 port, combo audio jack, and optional 4G model and MicroSD card slot. Keeping the lights on is a 42wHr battery that is rated for up to 10 hours on a single charge.

Aside from having a touchscreen panel, the BR1100F gets a better IPS panel, an active stylus, WiFi 6 connectivity, a 360-degree hinge, and a 13-megapixel world-facing camera.

ASUS BR1100 Price Philippines

The BR1100F is now available with an introductory price of Php 19,995 while the BR1100C will be available this coming July with an introductory price of Php 15,995. Both models are available at ASUS’ official Lazada and Shopee stores, and at authorized ASUS retailers.
