TECNO is finally joining the 5G train with the announcement of the POVA 5G. While it is part of the brand’s budget line, the POVA 5G appears to be a solid debut offering with its use of a Dimensity 900 processor that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The POVA 5G is a pretty large phone, as it has a 6.95-inch Full HD+ display with a punch-hole for the 12-megapixel selfie snapper and a 120hz refresh rate. Keeping the lights on is a 6000mAh battery with support for 18w charging. Its triple rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI camera.
Other features of the POVA 5G include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 11, and photography features like 4K timelapse and panorama.
TECNO has yet to reveal official pricing and availability for the POVA 5G, but reports say that it will be priced at $289(~Php 14.6k), which is a relatively reasonable price for a phone that uses a Dimensity 900 processor.
