The Acer eKinekt is the desk that can do it all: get work done AND burn calories while being able to charge your devices at the same time.
Among all the products that Acer has prepared for CES 2023, which includes an all-Intel laptop lineup and glasses-free 3D gaming, the Taiwanese brand wants to encourage everyone to have an active and sustainable lifestyle despite being busy with work. A standing work desk is not enough for the brand; instead, Acer came up with a clever “bike desk” called the eKinekt.
Combining a desk and a stationary bike in one, the eKinekt BD 3 generates kinetic energy, where constant cycling of 60rpm is enough to generate 75w of power. That’s enough to charge a 13-inch laptop, or any of your gadgets while getting work done with the eKinekt. Charging options include two USB-A ports and a USB-C port, allowing you to charge up to three devices all while you burn calories and get work done.
Beyond being probably the BEST multitasking desk out there, the eKinekt has additional features like different work and sports modes to suit your needs, a bag hook, and a beverage holder to keep you refreshed. It even comes with a companion app that lets you review the number of calories you have burned, watts generated from pedaling, and how long you have been using the eKinekt.
Acer has yet to reveal the price and availability of the eKinekt, but those looking for a way to get work done, burn calories, AND even charge their devices finally have an all-in-one solution for their office.
