Possibly cheaper than the 1X
While we saw the first Android Go phone in MWC 2018 in the form of Alcatel 1X, the company launched another Android Go-sporting phone with the Alcatel 1.
While it has a slightly different rear camera layout, the Alcatel 1 shares almost the same specs with the Alcatel 1X, since you are getting a MediaTek MT6739 processor and 1GB RAM. To keep prices low, the Alcatel 1 only as 8GB internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, and a smaller 5-inch 18:9 display with a 480 x 960 resolution.
There’s no price yet for the Alcatel 1, but given its downgraded specs, expect it to be cheaper than the €100 (~Php 6.3K) price of the Alcatel 1X.
