The Galaxy A8s Might Be Sold Outside of China

Will it be priced competitively?

After the Galaxy A8s claimed the throne for being the first phone officially launched with a punch hole display, we had to wait for several days before the official price was unveiled. While it was initially speculated to be available in China only, new documents show the possibility of the Galaxy A8s being sold outside of China.

Based on listings from the FCC and WiFi Alliance, the model SM-G887N has been given a certification. Internally, the Galaxy A8s is known as SM-G887. The “N” designation is a code given to phone models made available at Samsung’s home country in South Korea.

This recent discovery implies that Samsung does have plans of selling the Galaxy A8s globally in order to beef up its sales in the mid-range segment. With an official price of around Php 23k when converted, the Galaxy A8s is fairly priced in our opinion: you get a Snapdragon 710 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-O display, and triple rear camera setup.

We hope that Samsung brings the Galaxy A8s to our shores and price it close to its China pricing.
