The Galaxy Tab S9+ is Getting a S23-Inspired Makeover

The Galaxy Tab S8 series is already a year old at this point, and Samsung is expected to unveil the Tab S9 series. While it was initially speculated that Samsung will announce it together with the Galaxy S23 series, that did not seem to be the case. While we are waiting for an official announcement, renders of the Galaxy Tab S9+ recently surfaced–and it seems that Samsung will port the design language of the Galaxy S23 series to its tablets as well.

The most obvious change here is the camera module, as the it will adopt two individual camera circles and flat frame sides. The magnetic area for the S-Pen stylus is still there, and the same goes for the symmetrical bezels. Like its predecessor, it’s expected to have a 12.4-inch display with a 1752×2800 resolution, along with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a quad-speaker system.

Charging speeds will more or less remain the same at 45w, and its USB-C port will support USB 3.2 standards. One possible change on the Galaxy Tab S9+ is that it might have another sensor (not necessarily another front-facing camera) that’s utilized when using the tablet in landscape mode.

Other expected specs include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor and an IP67 rating–the latter being a unique feature to have on a non-rugged tablet.
