It also comes with a much-loved feature from the P20 and Mate 10 Series
Honor made a surprise announcement with the Honor 10 GT in China. While it looks similar to the regular Honor 10, the main difference with the GT variant is that it comes with a whopping 8GB of RAM—double that of the RAM found in the regular Honor 10.
While it has a huge amount of RAM, the Honor 10 GT is not expected to compete against gaming phones like the ASUS ROG Phone, Razer Phone, or Xiaomi Black Shark. Instead, the Honor 10 GT is expected to compete against phones with 8GB RAM like the OnePlus 6 and Xiaomi’s Mi MIX 2S.
As an updated model, the Honor 10 GT gets GPU Turbo out of the box (we have a short explainer on it here) and night mode similar to the one found in Huawei’s P20 and Mate 10 series.
The Honor 10 GT will launch on July 24 in China, though pricing is not revealed as of this writing.
