Built for the times we live in
We’ve already detailed the specs and features of the Honor Play 4 made by the Huawei subsidiary. One new feature that we didn’t get to talk about however, is the embedded IR temperature sensor on the back of the phone.
This allows for contactless temperature taking, which has become a necessity for many people because of COVID-19. One of the primary symptoms of the disease that has wrecked the world economy is fever, accompanied by dry cough and fatigue.
The phone’s IR temperature sensor can detect temps from -20°C (-4°F) to 100°C (212°F), which makes it sensitive enough for use on humans.
Aside from that, the Honor 4 Play Pro comes with a Kirin 990 octa-core processor, a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage, along with a dual rear camera module that includes a 40-megapixel RYYB main camera, and dual front camera setup led by a 32-megapixel main snapper.
