HTC unveiled an affordable version of the U12+ with the U12 Life. This mid-ranger sports a glass back with two distinct textures, making it look similar to the Google Pixel.

Like the U12+, the U12 Life defies trends by having a notch-less display. Specs include a Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear cameras, and a 3600mAh battery. It comes with stereo speakers and thankfully a headphone jack. Unfortunately, the U12 Life will have Android 8.1 out of the box.

HTC U12 Life Specs

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor
  • 4GB of RAM
  • Adreno 509 GPU
  • 6-inch Full HD+ display
  • 64GB of expandable storage
  • 16-megapixel f/2.0 and 5-megapixel rear cameras with PDAF, dual-tone LED flash, 4K recording
  • 13-megapixel f/2.0 front camera with LED flash
  • Dual SIM
  • 4G, LTE
  • WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS
  • Fingerprint Scanner, USB Type-C
  • 3600mAh battery with 10W charging

The U12 Life will retail for £300(~Php 20.9k).
