If the silent unveling of the Mate 60 and Mate 60 Pro is not enough, Huawei also unveiled an even better variant with the Mate 60 Pro+. Being based on the Mate 60 Pro, the Pro+ gets an even better set of features. For one, its satellite connectivity has more functionality–aside from two-way text messaging via BeiDou, the Mate 60 Pro+ can even do voice calls via the Tiantong satellite. Huawei did not disclose how this will work, but it will definitely make the Mate 60 Pro+ stand out from the crowd.

While it is said to use the same processor (presumed to be the Kirin 9000s) found on both Mate 60 models, the Mate 60 Pro+ comes with more RAM at 16GB and can be availed with up to 1TB storage. You can expand storage via Huawei’s NM cards–though capacity maxes out at 256GB.

The display is a 6.8-inch 120hz LTPO AMOLED panel like the one used on the Mate 60 Pro, but the Pro+ has a higher resolution at 1260×2720. You also get the same second-generation Kunlun glass protection, and adds an IP68 rating to the mix. The three punch-holes contain the 13-megapixel selfie camera and a pair of ToF sensors.

Going to the rear camera setup, you get the a 48-megapixel main camera with OIS and a f/1.4-4.0 variable aperture and 48-megapixel periscope camera with OIS and a f/3.0 aperture, along with a higher-resolution a 40-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

The battery is the same at 5000mAh, and also gets support for 88w wired and 50w wireless charging. The Mate 60 Pro+ also can do reverse wireless charging at 20w.

Huawei has yet to reveal the official price of the Mate 60 Pro+ in China.
