The Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up Speaker is Opulence at its Peak

If having extremely expensive, flex-worthy TWS earbuds is not enough for the luxurious tastes of some people, Louis Vuitton is back with another flex-worthy luxury gadget called the Horizon Light Up Speaker.

Said to be inspired by the Toupie handbag, the Horizon Light Up Speaker is more of an art piece with its stainless steel build and generous leather trimmings with Louis Vuitton’s trademark monogram. Adding on to its premium build is a top ring that is made from tempered glass and has  23 monogram flowers, along with a middle ring is engraved with 12 Louis Vuitton letters, both having their own set of LED lights.

Beyond looks, the Horizon has the latest hardware to make it a compelling wireless speaker with its Qualcomm QCS 404 processor, three microphones, two 3-inch woofers, and two 0.75-inch tweeters, all contributing to its immersive 360-degree sound. You get an omnidirectional sound when it is docked and a unidirectional sound when positioned sideways.

For connectivity, the Horizon speaker supports Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi 5, and is compatible with Apple AirPlay 2 and QPlay. Its internal battery is rated for up to 15 hours on a single charge, and its 36w USB-C charging takes 1.5 hours to fully top up. For further customization, the Horizon speaker can be controlled via the Louis Vuitton Connect app.

Louis Vuitton Horizon Speaker Price

The high-end Bluetooth speaker is currently on pre-order and is priced at $2890(~Php 145.2k). That makes the Horizon speaker one of the most expensive Bluetooth speakers in the market right now, and it definitely caters to a niche of either fans of the brand or those who simply have so much cash to burn.
