OnePlus finally unveils its first-ever tablet offering with the flagship OnePlus Pad.
Aside from the anticipated global launch of the OnePlus 11, the brand has finally unveiled its first tablet called the OnePlus Pad.
It’s a pretty large tablet at 11.61-inches, but comes with a 7:5 aspect ratio that OnePlus claims is an optimal ratio for web browsing and watching videos. The display is a top-tier IPS panel with a 144hz refresh rate and a 2800×2000 (or 5.6k) resolution.
Aside from those razor-thin bezels, the OnePlus Pad is skinny at 6.54mm and light at 552g–all while still using a unibody aluminum frame with chamfered edges. The frame houses a quad-speaker system that supports Dolby Atmos. To distinguish itself from other tablets, the OnePlus Pad has a polarizing module that’s placed right smack at the center of the back panel and has a 13-megapixel camera.
As a flagship-caliber tablet, you get a Dimensity 9000 processor that’s paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Keeping the lights on is a 9510mAh battery that supports 67w SuperVOOC.
Like most tablets in the market, OnePlus will be offering accessories like the Magnetic keyboard and a Stylo pen with the Pad–both sold separately. Being part of a budding ecosystem, the OnePlus Pad has features that are exclusive when used in tandem with a OnePlus phone. These include cross-screen transmission, auto-connect, and cellular data sharing.
As much as it is an exciting flagship tablet, OnePlus did not reveal its price during the event but said that it will reveal more details in the coming weeks.
