The OPPO Find X6 Series Flaunts Triple 50-Megapixel Cameras

Xiaomi is not the only one that has a phone with three 50-megapixel cameras: OPPO has not just one, but two of them with both the vanilla Find X6 and Find X6 Pro having a triple 50-megapixel rear camera setup.

The Find X6 Pro has a humongous bump in the back, and for a good reason. All three of its cameras have large sensors to flaunt: a 1-inch IMX989 for the main camera with a f/1.8 aperture, and IMX890 for both the ultra-wide and periscope cameras. The former has a f/2.2 aperture, while the latter has a bright f/2.6 aperture. All three cameras can shoot RAW images, along with 4K video recording with Dolby Vision HDR.

Aside from having OPPO’s Marisilicon X chip, the Find X6 Pro has Hasselblad software features that include Hasselblad Natural Colour profile, the Hasselblad Pro Mode, the XPAN mode for panoramic shots, a Hasselblad-faithful shutter sound, and even a Hasselblad Watermark that has the EXIF data of your image–similar to Xiaomi’s approach with the 13 series. The Find X6 Pro also makes good with that telephoto camera with Hasselblad Portrait mode that emulates two of the Swedish lensmaker’s iconic lenses: XCD30 (30mm f/3.5) and XCD80 (80mm f/1.9).

As a premium flagship, the Find X6 Pro has a 6.82-inch QHD+ 120hz AMOLED display with a class-leading 2500nits of brightness. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that’s paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. You also get a 5000mAh battery that supports 100w wired and 50w wireless charging. To wrap things up, you get an IP68 rating.

The vanilla Find X6 has a smaller 6.74-inch display with a 120hz refresh rate and an unconventional 2772×1240 resolution. You also get a smaller 4800mAh battery with 80w wired charging–no wireless charging here.

You get a Dimensity 9200 with the Find X6, along with a triple 50-megapixel camera setup that’s slightly tweaked: both the main and telephoto cameras use an IMX890, while the ultra-wide uses an ISOCELL JN1. You do get an IP64 rating, which is still a good rating for water and dust resistance.

As of this writing, the Find X6 series is going to be exclusive to China. The Find X6 Pro starts at CNY 6000(~Php 47.8k) for the 12GB/256GB model, while the Find X6 starts at CNY 4500(~Php 35.6k) for the same variant.
