The Redmi K30 Flaunts a 120Hz Display and Sony IMX686 Main Camera

To come in 4G and 5G flavors

Redmi unveiled the successor to the K20 with the K30 in China. Instead of having a Pro model, the K30 is divided between the 4G and 5G versions. Aside from 5G connectivity, key differences between the two include a Snapdragon 730G processor, 27w wired charging, and 2-megapixel macro camera for the 4G model and Snapdragon 765G, 30w wired charging, dual-frewuency GPS, and 5-megapixel macro camera for the 5G model.

Both variants share the same key specs that include a 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS display with 120hz refresh rate, pill-shaped punch-hole display that is home to a 20-megapixel main camera and a depth sensor, 4500mAh battery, and a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main rear camera.

Both variants have options for 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB internal storage, though the 64GB storage is only UFS 2.1. Both variants also have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, USB-C, and the good ‘ol headphone jack.

The Redmi K30 4G starts at CNY 1599(~Php 11.6k) for the 6GB/64GB variant, while the Redmi K30 5G starts at CNY 1999(~Php 14.5k) for the same variant.
