It can also sync with your phone as well

While 2020 is a year where Samsung will push for 8K QLED TVs, the Korean brand continues to explore new ideas for its TVs. For this year, Samsung’s new concept is the Sero—a 43-inch 4K QLED TV that rotates in a horizontal or vertical orientation. This is made possible by a motorized mount that is controlled by a button on the remote or through Samsung’s SmartThings app.

Samsung’s rotating TV concept is meant for better viewing of content that is optimized for portrait mode—Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube to name a few. In addition, the vertical orientation makes the Sero ideal for mirroring content from your smartphone with Multi View. If you own a Galaxy smartphone, the Sero will rotate automatically depending on the phone’s screen orientation. The Sero’s 4.1-channel, 60-watt speaker system is placed through the stand so that you get consistent sound quality regardless of screen orientation.

The Sero will be available in South Korea and Vietnam soon. No word yet if Samsung will bring this millennial and Gen Z-friendly TV to the Philippines.
