TECNO has made its Camon 20 series official, and like previous iterations, the Premier model is the top-end variant. To emphasize its premium appeal, the Camon 20 Premier has a leather and ceramic back that TECNO describes as “free from the flimsiness of plastic” and takes each phone 56 hours of polishing and 576 hours to build the unique back panel. Leather is used for the panel, while the camera module is made from nanocrystalline ceramic.
Also making the Camon 20 Premier unique is its rear camera setup: the main camera uses a 1/1.5″ 50-megapixel RGBW sensor and has sensor-shift OIS and an f/1.77 aperture, while the ultra-wide camera uses a high-resolution 108-megapixel sensor that has an f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and macro capabilities. The third camera is a forgettable 2-megapixel bokeh camera, and the Camon 20 Premier packs a laser autofocus module to keep focusing fast and accurate.
The Camon 20 Premier’s display is a 6.67-inch 120hz AMOLED display that has an in-display fingerprint scanner and a punch-hole for a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. Powering it is a Dimensity 8050 processor–which is essentially the new name for the Dimensity 1300/1200–and is paired with 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. Keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh battery that supports 45w charging.
TECNO has yet to reveal the price and availability of the Camon 20 Premier.
