Vivo is readying the successor to their popular midrange V3 series released earlier this year in the form of the upcoming V5 smartphone. A larger V5 Plus is also in the pipeline, according to rumors.

Looks like the new V5 will be coming in the 5.5-inch form factor, and will be succeeding the V3 Max, instead of the base V3. We can expect the V5 Plus to have a larger display, given the new sizing scheme.
The Vivo V5 selfie smartphone will be made official this November 15 in India with a sub-$300 (~Php 14.5K) price tag. No details yet on whether the V5 Plus will be unveiled on the same day.
