THL T100: Octa-Core Smartphone
It looks like the quad-core MediaTek age is about to come to an end with the impending arrival of octa-core powered devices. Novo 7 Tech, local distributor of THL smartphones, recently announced that the THL T100 Monkey King 2 smartphone will be hitting the Philippines this coming January and it will be powered by the new MediaTek 6592 octa-core chipset! We did some digging and we were able to get the specifications of the THL T100. It literally has everything that you would want from a premium flagship smartphone except for LTE connectivity. If this is correct it even has NFC! Here’s the spec sheet for your perusal folks.

Now the big question that people should be asking themselves is this: would you pay for a smartphone with killer specs the same price you could get a global brand with slightly lower specifications but with LTE connectivity? Definitely something to think about right? 🙂
