Which phones should you spend your money on?

Xiaomi Redmi 7A
It’s not surprising that Xiaomi’s Redmi 7A is in this price bracket, as the brand traditionally has a good foothold in the budget segment of the market compared to its competitors. The Redmi 7A has a good mix of features, power and battery life, and is just Php 4,790 for the 2GB/16GB version.

This phone has decent hardware, modern styling and large battery for a very reasonable price of just Php 5,999 – making it a good pick for cash strapped individuals.

OPPO’s A5 2020 is a way better choice than the brand’s more expensive A9 2020 while offering many of the same features as its pricier brother. The phone has a fairly large 6.5-inch HD+ display as well as a decent quad-camera setup on the rear. The Snapdragon 665 processor is pretty powerful, and to top it off the phone has a large 5000mAh cell that gives it excellent endurance. Not bad for Php 8,990.
