If you’ve been looking for an excuse to sell off your old phone or tablet to a brand-spanking new Samsung Galaxy device, you sir, are in luck. Samsung Philippines has opened a trade-in program for the new stars of its Galaxy, namely the Note, S and A series of devices.
If your device qualifies, you’ll be able to knock a few thousand pesos off the SRP of the Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note FE, Galaxy A8+, Galaxy A8, Galaxy A7 (2017) and the Galaxy A5 (2017). Do note that there’s a limited amount of discount applied to each model depending on the phone you want.
Samsung hasn’t outlined what phones they find acceptable in the trade-in, though obviously previous generation devices made by the Korean company would be kosher. There will be a third-party agent that will take a look at whatever device you want to trade-in to determine the trade-in value.
The promo will run till the end of the month (Jan. 31) only.
