vivo Announces More Affordable X60T Pro+ in China

It seems that vivo is not yet done with its X60 series, as the brand announces the X60T Pro+ in China. Given that it has a T on its model name, this variant aims to be a pared-down version of the X60 Pro+.

vivo X60T Pro+ Specs:

  • Snapdragon 888 processor
  • 8GB/12GB RAM
  • 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage
  • 6.56-inch Full HD+ (1080×2408) AMOLED display, 120hz refresh rate, HDR10+
  • 50-megapixel f/1.79 ISOCELL GN1 main camera with OIS PDAF, 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 12-megapixel f/2.0 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, 8-megapixel f/3.4 periscope camera with 5x optical zoom
  • 32-megapixel f/2.45 selfie camera
  • LTE, 4G, 5G
  • WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, in-display fingerprint scanner
  • 4200mAh battery
  • 55w fast charging
  • Android 11, FunTouchOS 11.1

Compared to the non-T version, the only literal difference with the X60T Pro+ is the short telephoto camera, which has been downgraded from a 32-megapixel sensor to a 12-megapixel sensor that is presumed to be the new Sony IMX663. The said sensor is described to be a 1/2.93-inch variety with 1.22um pixels.

Save for that difference, the X60T Pro+ is identical to the non-T version. Yes, you still get that large 50-megapixel GN1 main camera, 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 8-megapixel camera, along with a Snapdragon 888 processor that is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, a curved 6.56-inch AMOLED display with 120hz refresh rate and punch-hole for the 32-megapixel selfie snapper, and a 4200mAh battery with support for 55w wired charging.

vivo X60T Pro+ Price

Because of that short telephoto lens downgrade, the X60T Pro+ is CNY 500 more affordable than the non-T version at CNY 4500(~Php 33.4k) for the 8GB/128GB variant. Color options are the same as well, and there’s no word if vivo will make this variant available globally–the global versions of the X60 series lack a Pro+ model and swaps the Exynos 1080 processor for a Snapdragon 870 instead.
