The V-series gets a new iteration in Thailand with the announcement of the vivo V23e. Unlike the V21e, which launched locally as a 4G phone before a 5G version was announced in India, the V23e is available only with a 5G variant.
vivo V23e Specs:
- Dimensity 810 processor
- 8GB RAM
- 128GB UFS 2.1 storage (expandable via MicroSD)
- 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display
- 50-megapixel f/1.8 main camera with PDAF, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera
- 44-megapixel selfie camera with OIS, AF, dual-LED flash
- LTE, 4G, 5G
- WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, in-display fingerprint scanner
- 4050mAh battery
- 44w fast charging
- Android 11, FunTouch OS 12
Compared to the V21e 5G that was announced in India, the V23e comes with a Dimensity 810 processor, which is the logical successor of the Dimensity 700 used on the V21e 5G. Aside from a different processor and a different main rear camera–the V23e opts for a 50-megapixel camera instead of a 64-megapixel one–the V23e shares a lot of similarities with the V21e 5G.
Like the V21e 5G, you also get a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel with conventional 60hz refresh rate, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 44-megapixel selfie shooter, and a 4050mAh battery with support for 44w wired charging.
The vivo V23e is now available in Thailand for THB 12,999(~Php 19.7k). Given that it was announced in Thailand, there’s a very good chance that the V23e might be available soon in the Philippines.
