More and more phones in China are getting the Snapdragon 870, and vivo is the next in line with the iQOO Neo5. The gaming phone positions itself as a lower-end version of the iQOO 7 that launched last January.

As a gaming phone, you get a Snapdragon 870 processor that is paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The display is a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel and boasts a Full HD+ resolution, 120hz refresh rate, and an insane 1000hz touch response rate. The said display is HDR10+ certified and comes with a peak brightness of 1300nits.
For the cameras, you get a quad setup on the back that comprises of a 48-megapixel f/1.8 main camera, 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras. Taking care of selfies is a 16-megapixel snapper.
Another key feature of the iQOO Neo5 is charging speeds: you get 66w wired charging to top up its 4400mAh battery, and the bundled charger is compatible with devices that support 45w USB-PD charging–making it a good charger for some ultrabooks too. Being exclusive to China, the iQOO Neo5 comes with OriginOS and Android 11.
vivo iQOO Neo5 Price
vivo’s iQOO series has been exclusive to China since its inception, and there’s no word yet if vivo will make it available outside of China. However, if you are interested in getting one (and risk not having Google services), the iQOO Neo5 starts at CNY 2499(~Php 18.8k) for the 8GB/128GB model.
