vivo’s iQOO sub-brand announced a new affordable 5G smartphone in China with the U3. This phone looks similar to the Y52s that was announced last week—both are similar with:
- The dual rear camera setup (48-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor);
- Battery (5000mAh battery with 18w USB-C charging);
- RAM and storage configuration (6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage); and
- Display (6.58-inch Full HD+ display with 90hz refresh rate),
However, the U3 comes with slightly better specs:Â Dimensity 800U processor with liquid cooling and a higher-resolution 20-megapixel selfie snapper.
The iQOO U3 will be available in China for CNY 1498(~Php 11k) for the 6GB/128GB model and CNY 1698(~Php 12.5k) for the 8GB/128GB model. That makes it more affordable than the Y52s while rocking a better processor and a higher-resolution front camera.
