vivo partners with Zeiss for Upcoming X60 series

While we all know that Zeiss is associated with Nokia and Sony for mobile phones, the Germany-based optical brand confirmed that it is partnering with vivo for the brand’s upcoming X60 series.

While Zeiss is expected to reveal more about the partnership on December 17, a leaked vivo poster shows that there will be at least two X60 models that will be coming on December 29.

If you look cloesly at the poster, two phones will have a quad-rear camera setup with one of them being a periscope camera, while the one in the middle will settle for a triple rear camera setup instead. Also worth noting is that the one with four rear cameras (which we presume is the X60 Pro) comes with a curved AMOLED display.

Design-wise, the X60 series look very similar to the X50 series, so we presume that the upgrades lie on the internals, the X60 is expected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1080 and will come with at least 8GB LDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, 120hz refresh rate, and Android 11 out of the box.
