After vivo made the T1 Pro 5G, T1 4G, and T1 5G in India, we were speculating that the brand might consider bringing the T1 series to other countries in the Philippines. It turns out that it was all in vivo’s plans, as the brand teased the arrival of the T1 5G and T1x to the Philippines.
What’s intriguing is that both phones are not related to the ones released in China and India bearing the same name: the T1 5G is said to have a Snapdragon 778G processor, while the T1x will use a Snapdragon 680 processor. Further research reveals that the variants we are getting are the ones that are official in Malaysia.
Based on the information given at the vivo Malaysia website, the T1 5G is similar to the T1 Pro 5G in India save for a faster 66w wired charging solution and only an 8GB/128GB variant. The T1x, on the other hand, has a lot of similarities with the Y21T that came out a few months ago save for a higher-resolution display.
