While vivo has already made the V21 5G and V21e official in the Philippines, it seems that the brand will be expanding the V21 series further. Aside from a V21 that lacks 5G (but still uses the same Dimensity 800U processor), there are reports that a V21e 5G is launching soon.

This has been revealed by 91mobiles, adding that there will be a few differences (aside from the processor) for the V21e 5G. From the leaked renders, the most obvious difference is the use of a dual rear camera setup. According to 91mobiles, the rear camera setup will consist of a 64-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The macro camera may be out of the picture, but vivo is going more for quality over quantity this time around.

For the front camera, the V21e 5G will settle for a lower-resolution 32-megapixel selfie snapper but does make up for it with a faster 44w FlashCharge solution for its 4000mAh battery. Being a 5G-ready device, the V21e 5G will rock a Dimensity 700 processor–which is slowly becoming the popular choice for entry-level 5G phones. Save for those key differences, the V21e 5G will still have 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, along with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a conventional 60hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

With the V21e 5G expected to debut on June 25 in India, what will be very interesting will be its rumored price. According to reports, the V21e 5G will be priced at Rs 27,990(~Php 18.5k), which is only a few hundred Pesos more than the SRP of its 4G sibling here in the Philippines. However, there is no word yet of the V21e 5G will be exclusive to India or if it will be available in other countries including the Philippines.
