Ahead of its official launch on September 22, vivo has revealed the official price of the V29 in the Philippines. This time around, vivo will be bringing over two storage variants: 256GB like previous V-series models, and a 512GB variant. The latter will be a first for vivo’s V series.
To recap, the V29 highlights an updated Aura Light that’s now independent from the LED flash and has an adjustable color temperature to make it more functional in adding flattering lighting for photos. While it has a similar design language to the V27 5G, the V29 has an updated camera module layout and adds an IP54 rating–a first for the V-series.
The V29 has the same 6.78-inch 120hz curved AMOLED display, though it gets a bump in resolution at 1.5K. For the processor, the V29 uses a tried-and-tested Snapdragon 778G processor that’s paired with 12GB RAM. The battery capacity is the same at 4600mAh, but the V29 offers faster charging speeds at 80w.
Like the V27 5G, the V29 is a content creator powerhouse with its 50-megapixel IMX766V main camera and 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN1 selfie camera–both capable of shooting 4K video. Accompanying the main camera are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
