With vivo kicking off its release of the V30 series in the Philippines with a promo price during 3.3 sale a few days ago, the brand highlights the V30’s features–specifically its camera features.

One of the highlights of the V-series is the Aura Light, which made its debut in the V27. This feature is vivo’s approach to LED lights, where it is utilized as a fill light tool for taking portraits. The V29 came with a larger Aura Light that has an adjustable color temperature, and the V30 improves that further with a square-shaped design that aims to offer better illumination. 

Aside from a larger illumination area, the Aura Light on the V30 has a smart distance detection feature that gives the right amount of illumination (and the proper color temperature) according to the phone’s distance from the subject. This ensures that your subject is well-lit regardless of distance so that you can get great portrait shots even at night.

vivo has been using a 50-megapixel main camera on the V-series since the V27, and the V30 gets an improved version with vivo’s Camera-Bionic Spectrum (VCS) technology. Inspired by human eye bionics, the main camera of the V30 has improved image processing that allows for better low-light shooting to match what flagship phones have to offer.
